Becketwood Cooperative is independently owned by its Members, who take an active role in governance by serving on committees and electing their Board of Directors. The Board provides direction to an excellent management staff.

One Member per unit must be at least 55 years old, living independently and able to meet certain financial criteria. Becketwood is an independent living cooperative housing facility and does not have medical facilities or provide medical or home health care services.

The value of a Membership is largely based on the size of the unit and its value in the marketplace. Monthly operations charges can vary depending primarily on the unit size.

24-hour on-site front desk staff, a repair and replacement reserve, management, upkeep of restaurant and common areas, water, heat and central air conditioning, trash removal, laundry facilities, standard cable and high speed internet, land line, building and grounds maintenance and property taxes.

Our food quality, chef and food service staff receive rave reviews. The restaurant-style menus are creative and make use of sustainable, organic and in-season ingredients available locally. Special dietary needs are addressed.
Members enjoy dining in the Wellington Room with friends, family and neighbors. Tables can be reserved. If Members choose to eat in their units, tray service is available at no extra charge.
Members can opt to eat a prepared meal each day or choose to eat just a few meals each month; meal costs are added to the monthly bill. Catering services are also available.

One small neutered dog, not to exceed 40 pounds, is allowed in any unit on the first floor. Up to two indoor neutered cats per unit are allowed. Pets are not allowed in the common areas or in the guest rooms. Members must keep their pets leashed at all times on the grounds and in the building. Members are responsible for immediate clean-up.
